Man who killed Suffolk jeweller Peter Avis was escaped prisoner
The Polish Embassy has confirmed the man who stabbed West Suffolk jeweller Peter Avis to death was on the run after escaping from one of the country's prisons.

Ireneusz Melaniuk admitted the murder of Peter Avis and is yet to be sentenced. Plans for a complete revamp of part of the Felixstowe seafront have been approved by Suffolk Coastal District Council. The 拢15m project would see the pier area, including the boating lake, transformed with the pier itself completely rebuilt. Foz hears more from the council's cabinet member for planning, Andy Smith.
A horse expert has told an inquest he would have stopped providing carriage rides once his horses started misbehaving. John Parker said any reasonably competent operator would have aborted the rides after 3.30pm on the 19th of June 2011, less than an hour before the fatal accident at Nowton Park near Bury st Edmunds, because the horses were showing signs that they'd had enough. 57 year old Carol Bullett died when a horse bolted into crowds at the Nowton Country Fair.
