Jenni Dutton and the idealised female form
Using a female mannequin, Jenni Dutton creates an idealised female form lined with papier-m芒ch茅 and a layer of red tissue paper to denote blood and passion. Spiky holly leaves decorate the figure to create a skirt. Through this, Dutton relates the quality of materials to create meaning. Further examples include the 'Human hair' and also the 'Memory' dresses created out of ephemera such as old diaries, letters and photographs. The results are thought provoking and echo the sentiment of the artist.
