Jenni Dutton and mackerel skin dresses
A haunting sculpture of an empty dress introduces Jenni Dutton talking about her use of both positive and negative space in a creative manner. Wire and paper wrappings in and around human forms provide an example of her 'conceptual clothing'. Inspiration for her work is drawn from highly unusual materials, such as snakeskin, tree bark, broken glass and even smoked mackerel.
