Artist Fiona Rae mixes paint
Artist Fiona Rae demonstrates how she uses colour, paint and form to create a painting. She uses acrylic paints and explains how she can take a few hours to make the right colour. We see how she makes changes to her work, taking away elements she is unhappy with. She describes how in some of the paintings it looks like there is an argument or fight between the elements, with no one thing being superior to another. This jostling for position somehow makes the image work.
