Three artists - a sculptor, caricaturist and an abstract painter - are all asked to make a self-portrait in their style of art. They explain their motivation, ideas and influences that will dictate the way they approach their self-portraits. The processes and media involved in the construction of the pieces are followed in a studio environment. The painter explores the application of paint over collage, the sculpture demonstrates construction with 'junk' materials, and the caricaturist explains drawing techniques and materials. The artists come together to evaluate their own and each other鈥檚 finished pieces of work.
