Ordering two-digit numbers - number lines and rectangles (pt 1/2)
How to order two-digit numbers using a number line. Putting numbers in order can be useful for lots of things. Children are taking part in a balloon race to see which balloon travels the furthest. A number line is used to order the distance in km travelled by the balloons. Start by ordering the one-digit numbers, then the two-digit numbers starting with a one, and finally the two-digit numbers starting with a two.
