Mountain roads in the Pyrenees
Exploring the roads in the Pyrenees mountains. To protect roads from avalanches, avalanche deflectors or shelters are used. They act as a bridge and divert the falling snow from the road. Roads which make their way up a mountain tend to weave and zigzag, otherwise they would be too steep.
