Heat and insulation
An explanation of how people and animals use insulation to keep warm is given in this clip. Examples of 'insulators' are given and it is explained how people use these to keep their home and other objects warm. We also see examples of how different animals protect themselves against cold temperatures, such as penguins who huddle together. Also includes a demonstration of how a thermal camera shows hot and cold areas.
