Ivan Davy mixes two highly aromatic ingredients. The first is real musk which comes from the musk deer that was collected in 1930 which is an illegal substance now because the animals are frightened to obtain it but if it was gathered before 1978, you can actually own it. The other ingredient is ambergris and comes from the sperm whale. It is reputed to be vomit of the sperm whale but it's actually produced in it's digestive system.
