The properties of water
Dr Peter Wothers demonstrates the chemical properties of water with some students at his laboratory in the University of Cambridge鈥檚 Department of Chemistry. First the team explore why ice floats on water. Next they explore what happens as water expands when frozen.
They finish the session by measuring how much steam is generated from 1cm3 of water.
