In Session

In Session
This month's live sessions were produced in the beautiful riverside town of Bewdley, at the Cock & Magpie, on the banks of the Severn.
Ìý
The venue hosts a number of regular open mic nights in their upstairs bar - so it was a natural choice for us to take the Introducing show there.

Ìý
Khaos Theory are a new hard rock/metal band from Redditch.
Ìý
Having played in previous bands together, Chris (guitar) and Daimon (vocals) joined forces to create a new project, with Mike joining later on bass and Chelsea on drums!

Meet The Musicians

Meet The Musicians
´óÏó´«Ã½ Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from our area.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.

Once a month, we've been recording acts chosen by us at a variety of venues across the area - including at some of our biggest festivals.

Our next recording session takes place on Friday 31 May at the Wychwood Festival on Cheltenham Racecourse on our very own stage and features the five acts we plan to broadcast throughout June.

Acts we've chosen to appear at the festival are Worcester's Becky Rose, This Wicked Tongue, The Delray Rockets, Leominster's George Barnett, Malvern's Dogs Of Santorini, Hereford's Jimmy Heartbreak and Brassick, who are from both counties.

None of these acts knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded here - which led them to receiving airplay on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Hereford & Worcester.

Meanwhile, if you're a venue or promoter, and would like to be featured in a future recording session pleaseÌýget in touch.

With more and more songs topping the charts that have been recorded at home, this week we're asking "just how easy is it to make a hit in your front room"?
Ìý
To answer that very question, we're joined by the king of home studio production Paul White - Editor-In-Chief of Sound On Sound magazine.
Ìý
Paul lives in Malvern - and says the time has nearly come to throw out that PC and record the lot onto your phone…
