Apollo 11: A Night to Remember
July 1969 saw one of mankind's greatest technological achievements - the first landing on the moon. In this special compilation of archive footage, originally broadcast as part of 大象传媒4's Moon Night, Patrick Moore presents the story of man's first steps onto another world.

Did You Know?
As Patrick Moore notes at the beginning of this programme, much of the live commentary and discussion from the 大象传媒's presentation of the moon landings has been lost. Producer Paul Vanezis pieced together this compilation using all of the surviving footage, including segments from the sound archives, bridged with suitable material from NASA's own recordings. Patrick Moore was then able to cover any missing segments with his own narration, which was specially recorded for this broadcast.
