An interview with an earthquake engineer
A short interview with an earthquake engineer, taken from 'The Imagineers' programme. The engineer describes how growing up in rural India allowed her to witness the devastation caused by natural events such as flooding. This inspired her to become an engineer so that she could find solutions that would save millions of lives if an earthquake strikes in India. This can be achieved by designing an underground rail system that can withstand the forces involved.
