A short interview taken from 'The Imagineers' programme, in which an engineer discusses the advantages and disadvantages of wind turbines. He explains that in the UK many people oppose them because they offer no obvious benefit: these people already have access to electricity via the National Grid and see no immediate local benefit to cleaner electricity. However, in rural communities elsewhere in the world, turbines may offer the only way to have electricity, and avoid the need to use diesel generators.
