Child and Adolescent Mental Health

Dr Chetna Kang and Toby Friedner focus on child and adolescent mental health and ask if there's enough provision for young people in the three counties.

This week Dr Chetna Kang and Toby Friedner ask - is there enough help for young people with mental health problems in the three counties?

There are currently 3000 children and young people being treated for mental health problems in Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes alone.

Last week a report suggested increasing numbers of young people are suffering from anxiety and depression.

And in June we heard the shocking story of the two teenagers from Borehamwood who were thought to have taken their own lives after being hit by a train.

So today we're asking is there enough help for young people with mental health problems in the three counties?
