Plant cells
In this clip, the structure of plant cells is explained. In common with an animal cell the plant cell as has a nucleus, cytoplasm and a cell membrane. In addition to three it also has a cell wall made up cellulose which gives it shape and structure and provides the fibre in our diet. Inside the plant cell wall is a large vacuole full of sap. Green plant cells within the leaves contain chloroplasts which hold the green pigment used to absorb light for photosynthesis.
