Pollination model
In flowering plants sexual reproduction takes place in two stages. The male pollen has to reach the female stigma and this first part of the process is known as pollination. Some plants can pollinate themselves (self-pollination) but most of the time they don't. The clip then explains how the second stage of the process known as cross-pollination works, using the wind and insects to carry the pollen between flowers.
