The Adis people of Arunachal Pradesh (pt 1/2)
The state of Arunachal Pradesh is in North East India. It is a remote region with more than 25 indigenous people groups. The Adis live remotely and exist through farming and hunting. The men are skilled craftsmen and they make good use of the forest materials. Modern materials, such as tin, cement and sand, have been introduced into the village. Slash and burn agriculture is practised to clear land and enrich the otherwise poor soil.
