The Adis people of North East India are experiencing the modernisation of their communities. The villagers are initiating the new developments for themselves. Guns for hunting, machinery, roads and electricity are improving the way of life for many of the people. Christianity has been introduced from other parts of India and education is changing the aspirations of the young. The Adis will need to adapt to new ways as their culture and lifestyle continue to change.
