This week an interview with Louis and Bebe Barron, the pioneers who wrote the first ever electronic music score for the cult sci-fi film Forbidden Planet. We talk to composer Zbigniew Preisner, half of the great director-musician partnership with Polish film-maker Krzysztof Kie艣lowski, about films including the Three Colours trilogy. And, award-winning composer Hans Zimmer discusses working on the Batman trilogy and working with English film director Sir Ridley Scott 鈥� best known for films such as Alien, Blade Runner and Gladiator.
Also on the programme, Woody Allen and actress Sally Hawkins discus their new film Blue Jasmine. And, we hear from Samantha Geimer, the woman at the centre of film director Roman Polanski's child-sex scandal in the '70s. Plus, Carolina Robino from 大象传媒 Mundo talks about the great poet of love Pablo Neruda, on the 50th anniversary of his death.
