Meet the narrator

Paterson Joseph is best known for his role as Alan Johnson in Channel 4 sitcom .听

Born in London he now lives in France, with his wife and son, although he returns regularly to film in the UK.听 Paterson鈥檚 beautiful, mellifluous voice has helped him on his way to fame and fortune, but it wasn鈥檛 always this way. At school he was, in his own words, 鈥榤onosyllabic鈥�, but at 17 he joined a theatre group and never looked back.听

His television credits include 大象传媒 series , , 听and director Danny Boyle's . He has also appeared in 听with Leonardo Di Caprio, and 听with Daniel Day Lewis. Paterson is a regular and has recently played Brutus in a performance by the RSC of 听set in Africa.听
