Joining us at our most recent recording session in Kington was the new Worcester act Gobi.

"At the forefront of the band is the very energetic frontman, James, with an astonishing ability to manipulate his vocals into many different genres.

"The lead guitarist, Harley, has a similar skill set playing varied guitar styles.

"On bass is Simon, a very talented multi-instrumentalist who could easily be a frontman in his own band but chooses to be part of this group for the love of the music.

"On Drums is Thom who always has the right beats for any riff they throw at him!"

They say their music soothes but also makes you want to rock out!

大象传媒 Introducing in Kington

大象传媒 Introducing in Kington
It's one of the least populated towns in Herefordshire (according to the 2001 census it had a population of 2,597) yet has produced gems like and - who wrote his album Hergest Ridge on, errrr, Hergest Ridge.

For the last two years we've been taking the 大象传媒 Introducing Recording Roadshow out-and-about - and this was the last town in Herefordshire we've not yet visited.

When we rolled up at the Oxford Arms we were promised the biggest storm of the decade - which has been a general theme of our recording sessions this year - but luckily it came to nothing!

大象传媒 Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.

Our next recording session takes place on Sunday 24 November at and features the five acts we plan to broadcast throughout December.

It's free to get in - and this is your chance to see how we capture live music on tape, while being able to enjoy some of the hottest new acts we've got in our area right now.

None of these acts knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded - which led them to receiving airplay on 大象传媒 Hereford & Worcester.

Doors open at 6pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up anytime until 10pm.
