Greece, China and Fiji
Alexa Dvorson meets some Greeks who're uniting to earn more from tourism and stave off austerity; Madeleine Morris goes reporting with a baby in tow - and lives to tell the tale
Alexa Dvorson hears how some rural Greeks have rallied at a local level to earn more from tourism and stave off the austerity dictated by central government. Amid the scenery and history of Mount Pelion and Thessaly, she meets hoteliers, restaurateurs and history experts drawing on the past for lessons for today's businesses. But how easy can it be to get any work done when you already have another full-time job on your hands - being a parent? Madeleine Morris goes reporting in Fiji and China with a baby in tow, and lives to tell the tale, although she admits "I'm pretty sure John Simpson never began an assignment covered in sick".
