How understanding are people where you live about the needs of those with dementia?

Luton is to become a dementia friendly community.

These are places where the whole town gets together to offer support and understanding to people with dementia and their carers.

While there are lots of places committed to helping people with dementia, results of a recent survey show less than half of the respondents think their area is geared up to help them live well with dementia.
