Lucy May Walker is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter from Redditch who's recently graduated with a first class honours degree in Performing Arts at the University of Cumbria.
听
She recently won the Worcestershire County Pop Icons competition and has appeared on 大象传媒 Midlands Today, supported Kingsland Road and was an Open Mic UK Grand finalist earlier this year.
听
More recently, Lucy's supported Gary Barlow at the LG Arena in Birmingham.
听
Hay Fever
The 27th Hay Festival has opened this week and tens of thousands of people from across the world will be visiting during these ten days.
听
Between now and 1 June, fans can hear actors such as Dame Judi Dench and Benedict Cumberbatch, listen to Cerys Matthews and Suggs and laugh at Jonny Vegas and Greg Proops.

The festival was founded by Peter Florence and his dad, Norman, and Peter's been talking to our reporter Nicola Goodwin.

A 17-year-old girl from Worcester is through to the next round of a singing competition, that's seen many of its former contestants go on to star in the X Factor.

Visually impaired Chessy Marley studies at New College Worcester, but when she's not revising for her A Levels, you'll find her singing and writing her own music.

Later this month she will be performing in the next heat for a place in July's Grand Final in Birmingham.

Legendary rock group Led Zeppelin have released two previously unheard recordings ahead of the reissue of the band's first three albums in June.

The two tracks - blues classic Keys to Highway, recorded in 1970, and an early version of famous hit, Whole Lotta Love - are among dozens of tracks which the band will officially release alongside the reissues.
