3rd Battalion Mercians march through Newcastle and Hanley
Soldiers from the 3rd Battalion of the Mercian Regiment marched through North Staffordshire today for the final time. After returning from duty in Afghanistan, the former Staffordshire Regiment is to be disbanded as part of army restructuring.
