Crime writer James Ellroy: I live in 1940s time warp

Author James Ellroy says living in a 1940's time warp has made his books better.

The LA Confidential and Black Dahlia writer says he has never used a computer and only uses a landline telephone.

Ellroy, 66, told Dan and Sarah that living without technology helped him write new book Perfidia and has made his novels "more profound".
