French comedian Dieudonne M'bala M'bala has been detained by police over a Facebook comment he posted appearing to back Charlie Hebdo gunman Amedy Coulibaly.
French comedian Dieudonne M'bala M'bala has been detained by police over a Facebook comment he posted online, which appears to back Charlie Hebdo gunman Amedy Coulibaly.
Police are now investigating whether the controversial comedian - known for past convictions for anti-Semitism - is being an apologist for terrorism. He denies this.
While some have condemned the French comedian, others have taken to social media to question whether his comments should also be protected by the right to free speech similar to those of Charlie Hebdo. But how far can freedom of speech go?
