Dramatic new satellite images of two Nigerian towns attacked by Boko Haram militants show widespread devastation according to Amnesty International. Their researcher said one town was ‘almost wiped off the map.’
So why have these attacks not received wider media coverage? We look at the difficulties of reporting from north-east Nigeria. We also ask whether former UN chief Kofi Annan is right to suggest it is time to engage Boko Haram in some sort of dialogue. What do you think?
