Quarter Stone are a female-fronted Hereford rock band, with dirty bass, soulful vocals and zealous beats.

They say: 鈥淚f you want rock 鈥檔鈥 roll stripped down to the bones, we will not disappoint鈥. And they didn鈥檛!

Influenced by Queens Of The Stone Age, The Cranberries, The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys and Stereophonics - be sure to crank your stereo up to the max for this week鈥檚 session!

22 - 24 May: Breaking Bands Festival, Stoke Prior nr Bromsgrove
Breaking Bands is a brand new festival to be added to the music calendar of 2015.

The sole aim of the event is to bring the very best of the bands of the future into one place to open up the festival season and show what they can do.

The event opens up late May bank holiday weekend with three days action packed with rock, punk and metal bands from all over the UK.

Taking notes from the past 20 years of attending festivals and events, the organisers have put a year of planning into the good, the bad and the ugly to come up with a festival they would pay to go to themselves - as we'll hear on this week's show!

大象传媒 Introducing in Worcester

大象传媒 Introducing in Worcester
This month鈥檚 sessions were recorded at The Marr鈥檚 Bar in Worcester.

The venue has been running for longer than we鈥檝e been on-the-air and has seen some of the region鈥檚 best talent perform there.

Every week, we meet loads of musicians who are struggling to get gigs outside of their home town, so these last few months we鈥檝e been bringing more bands over Fromes Hill to perform in their neighbouring county than ever before.

We catch up with him and find out how he's getting on.
