Alexander: No need to increase income tax, national insurance, VAT
Lib Dem Danny Alexander on the party's election plans where he said it would deliver further cuts in income tax, and there was "no need to increase" income tax, national insurance and VAT.
He told Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics that their plans were "important to make sure that the burden is shared fairly among society".
The Lib Dems have vowed to balance the books by 2017-18 - the same date as the Tories.
