Bell Ringing Part 1
It's a sound synonymous with the English countryside...but did you know the first peal of bells ever rung took place at St Peter Mancroft here in the heart of Norwich?
The year was 1715 and in one months' time the exact date of the 300th anniversary will be marked with a weekend of celebrations including much ringing!
In preparation for the occasion, our reporter Thordis Fridriksson has been delving into the history of ringing at the church...and seeing how she measures up as a campanologist...
