We profile Floyd Mayweather out of the ring including his conviction for domestic violence

Floyd Mayweather is at the centre of the 鈥渇ight of the century鈥 this weekend. We profile his out of the ring activities in particular his conviction for domestic violence. How do boxers switch off the aggression needed in the ring when they step out of it? Does the attitude of some members of the public and media to star athletes mean they are dealt with more leniently and in turn devalue attempts to stamp out domestic violence?

Ride to Redemption
We meet one of the biggest stars in Speedway, Sweden鈥檚 Antonio Lindback as the new season gets underway this week. However it鈥檚 not clear whether he will be around to complete the 2015 campaign. Last month he was charged with drink driving. He already has two convictions for the offence. He tells us how this latest event has focused his mind on tackling his demons with alcohol in the glare of public attention.

The Man Who Survived the Holocaust but Died in an Air Crash.
On 4th May 1949 Ernest Erbstein was travelling back with the all-conquering Torino football team he managed from a friendly game in Lisbon. However the plane they were traveling in crashed into the retaining wall of the Basilica of Superga, in Turin. 31 people, including Erbstein, lost their lives. To mark the anniversary Caroline Barker has been finding out from Dominic Bliss, the author of "Erbstein: The triumph and tragedy of football's forgotten pioneer" about a man who survived the Holocaust only to be killed with his team in an air crash.

NFL Draft. A Global Event?
The 2015 NFL Draft is taking place, a huge moment for those hoping to make it to the big time and a pretty exciting time for fans too! However few of those drafted will come from outside the United States of America. If the sport is to be truly global then more players from around the world will be needed. We speak to Patrick Steenberge who organised Africa's first American Football game, the Global Kilimanjaro Bowl, which tried to introduce the sport to Tanzania.

As the World Snooker Championships reach their climax we hear from the man who did more than anyone to boost the sport鈥檚 popularity during its heyday of the 1980鈥檚. Six times World Champion Steve Davis tells us about that period and how the sports next growth push will be in India and China.

Sporting Witness鈥 In May 2000, the NASCAR driver, Adam Petty, was killed in an accident at the New Hampshire Speedway aged just 19. Petty was the latest generation of one the most famous driving dynasties in NASCAR and his death helped change the safety rules of the sport. His father, Kyle Petty speaks to Sporting Witness.
