Bell Ringing Part 3
We continue our series following 大象传媒 Radio Norfolk's Thordis Fridriksson as she learns the art of campanology.
It's all leading up to St Peter Mancroft in Norwich's celebrations next weekend, when they mark 300 years since the first peal of bells in the world was rung at the tower.
One of the ways they aim to mark the occasion is by building a bell-ringing school at the church...only the third in the world...
The others are at Worcester Cathedral and Adelaide. And seeing as Worcester's a bit closer Thordis joined the Mancroft team on a reconnaissance mission to the tower back in November last year...
