This week, we mix songs with sailing as we catch up with the Herefordshire duo Mice in a Matchbox who've spent the last couple of years floating across the globe, dropping anchor and playing shows wherever the wind took them!

The group consists of singer/songwriter Sally Stamford and guitarist/vocalist Jim Rolt.

They say: "Together we form an exciting and interesting acoustic blend of styles with the lyrical and evocative vocals of Sally merging with Jim's punchy guitar work and harmonies.

"We breathe new life into songs with a wide radius, from folk to reggae, and will definitely get your toes tapping and your fingers snapping!"

Most of their practicing was done at sea and in various anchorages between the Caribbean and the UK!

The Hay Festival

The Hay Festival
For 27 years, people have been coming from across the country to Hay-on-Wye for the famous festival, but now many are making it their holiday.

Forget Spain or Greece, the annual family week away for hundreds of people is now a trip to the Herefordshire/Welsh borders.

Listen again as our reporter Nicola Goodwin meet up with Karen and Jos Van Oostrum who are enjoying the nice weather in Hay.

Tweeting Car Park!

Tweeting Car Park!
A charity car park at the Hay Festival is hoping to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records.

The site, which has raised 200 thousand pounds for Macmillan Cancer Care during the past few years, was the first car park in the UK - and possibly the world - to have its own Twitter account.

Brian Goodwin is one of the team who transform part of their family farm into the charity money-spinner every year.
