Care Development, Blood Donation and 大象传媒 Music Day.

Start your day with the latest news and updates, with Jim and Jo at breakfast.

Now Bridget Blair has been back to Blaby, to see what's happening as the scheme nears completion: There's a warning that a shortage of new blood donors is threatening the future of blood stocks. It comes from the NHS Blood and Transplant service, which says there's been a forty per cent drop in new donors compared with a decade ago. Today is the first ever 大象传媒 Music Day. Events are being held across the country to celebrate every kind of music and the way music brings us together.
