Start your day with the latest news and updates, with Jim and Jo at breakfast.
According to figures obtained from Leicestershire police, just over 1200 separate cases were recorded in 2014 of people driving while using their phones ... that's over a third more than the number of drivers prosecuted for drink driving. It's nearly a year ago that a herb called khat was banned here in the UK . It's a stimulant chewed by large sections of the Somali community, and it WAS completely legal to do that. But last June it was reclassified as a class C drug, so if you bought it or chewed it, you would be arrested. Thousands of tonnes of the plant were brought to the city each year. So what impact has the ban had on Somalis living here in Leicester? Tonight on 大象传媒 2 at 9pm, the cameras will focus in on Leicester's Neonatal Unit at the Royal Infirmary in episode two of 'An Hour to Save Your Life'. The specialist maternity unit delivers care for babies born prematurely, and with complex complications. Tonight's programme follows three babies, minute by minute, as the team make life-or-death decisions about each of their needs, in the critical first hour after birth.
