7shades is a tribute to the music of Tim Smith and Cardiacs, but playing all original music.

Formed in 2013 as the result of a dramatic failed physics experiment, they emerged from the lab with the right number of limbs, but in all the wrong places.

Several months of physical and mental rehabilitation followed, and finally in 2015 some kind of atomic cohesion occurred enabling manifestation in real-world scenarios!

12 - 13 June: HopFest, Bewdley
HopFest has been taking place these last couple of years in the riverside town of Bewdley, featuring tonnes of local bands.

Their director, Peter Barnett, says: "It’s a very good and talented line up – all local and from Worcestershire (apart from Loose Lips who are Telford), including some really good young bands."

Artists include: Stiff Joints, Babajack, Tom Callinswood, Rattlesnake Jake, Swallows, Loose Lips, a late night chill out session with Esther Turner, Ben Stancombe and Tina V and the Youth acts (18 and under) on show during the afternoon (excluding Swallows who are playing in the evening) include Komodo, Ellisha Green, Hannah Law, Missing Sparrows and The Blue Dive.

On the Friday night, at the Beer Festival, the acts include One Tree Canyon and Final Measure doing their '60s blues set.

"The Clik Clik Collective will also be on hand to create mayhem and we’re launching a Poetry Corner for people to perform their written work, as well!"

Since 2010, various ´óÏó´«Ã½ Introducing shows that surround Gloucestershire have all been invited to choose the acts - and this year nine of our favourites graced the stages on the closing day of the event.

The Old Cock Inn, on Friar Street in Droitwich, hosted 13 acts at last weekend's Friar Fest.
Ìý
Dennis Seaton - one part of the reggae band Musical Youth - headlined the event.

For the time ever, we're heading toÌýÌýin Malvern to take over one of the stages - and, as always, we're hell-bent on showcasing local talent!

On Sunday 21 June, we'll be showcasing five acts for broadcast throughout July - culminating in a fly-over from the Red Arrows.

Last year's event raised more than £3,000 for Acorns Childrens Hospice and this year the admission fee will be split between Acorns and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
