Libraries, Breast Feeding and Paternoster.
Start your day with the latest news and updates, with Jim and Jo at breakfast.
Uncertainty surrounds the futures of dozens of librarians - at sites which are about to be taken over by volunteers in Leicestershire. 75 currently work at the 36 libraries the county council has offered communities the chance to take over, as it can no longer afford to manage them itself. Mums in Leicestershire are being encouraged to chose what is right for them when it comes to breastfeeding in public. A campaign by the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is aiming to empower, encourage and inspire women - whilst also challenging negative views of breastfeeding in front of others. The LPT is proudly declaring its #MyRightOfWay social media campaign. Have you ever been in the Attenborough Tower at University of Leicester? Well inside is a lift which isn't a lift in the tower - otherwise known as a paternoster.
