Emily Watson: Role of 7/7 mother was 'devastating to play'
In a new television drama A Song for Jenny, Emily Watson plays Julie Nicholson, a mother who lost her daughter, Jenny, in the July 2005 London tube and bus bombings.
Having met Jenny's real mother - a former vicar - she describes her humanity as "quite extraordinary".
"I found it devastating to play," said Ms Watson, "the most affecting of anything I鈥檝e done. It took me a while to recover."
A Song for Jenny will be screened on 大象传媒 One on Sunday 5 July 2015.
