More than 100 women were at Leicestershire Police headquarters yesterday - to celebrate 100 years of female police officers! Current and retired officers joined together to see police demonstrations and displays, and to look at vintage cars and costumes.
Also, what began as an effort to tidy up a Leicestershire village has spiralled into a full blown obsession for two women! Anne Brown and Dawn Ashmore have spent the last few years going out practically every day collecting bags and bags of litter.
And, Gordon Ramsey, Heston Blumenthal, Alain Roux - all are well known Michelin star winning chefs. But joining their company today is a man from Leicestershire, who opened his own restaurant less than a year ago!
