Depression in Football

Dr Chetna Kang and Louisa Peacock ask if there's enough help for depressed footballers.

More than a third of professional footballers suffer from depression or anxiety.

The findings also suggest footballers who have suffered from serious injuries are up to four times more likely to suffer from mental health problems.

This week we'll speak to former Watford and Luton player Clarke Carlisle about his depression.

And see what our local clubs are doing to support their players.
