The Ark of Taste: Dorset Blue Vinny Cheese
This week's Ark of Taste tells a story closer to home, a story of a blue cheese from Dorset which was lost and then revived. By the 1970s, the Dorset Blue Vinny was more the stuff of legends than the stuff of larders. It took another decade to bring this creamy, crumbly blue cheese back - and now it takes pride of place in shopfronts throughout Dorset.
