'We cannot whitewash Shaker Aamer claims'
In his first broadcast interview, former Guantanamo Bay resident Shaker Aamer detailed abuse he allegedly suffered at the US camp and in detention in Afghanistan.
He has alleged that a British official was present at one of his beatings.
Not everyone is welcoming him back to the UK. Jo Coburn spoke to Hannah Stuart from the centre-right think-tank the Henry Jackson Society about whether Mr Aamer was a security risk to the UK.
Conservative MEP Daniel Hannan also joined the discussion.
