Can F1 technology help the NHS?
The kind of technology used in Formula One racing is being adapted for use in the NHS.
Giles Dilnot visited F1 giant McLaren for the Daily Politics to learn how the ability to harvest and process large amounts of data could transform healthcare.
It could allow doctors to engineer specific care for patients – but critics are likely to be wary about how so much personal information will be handled.
