Rescuer recalls doomed fight to save whale

Dan Kirk, of British Marine Life Rescue, responded to an emergency call on Friday night, asking for help with a whale that was up ashore at Hunstanton.
It was already stranded when he arrived, and he knew there was not much hope of refloating it.
