Rare mother of pearl clouds over Norfolk
Brightly coloured nacreous clouds, as rare as they are beautiful, were visible over Norfolk this morning.
Also known as mother of pearl clouds, their colour comes from ice crystals refracting the sun's rays to give a rainbow effect.
