Cool documentary-style photos hang next to wild experimental colour
Two exhibitions at the Photographers Gallery – New Work in Britain and Californian Colour. Sidonie Goossens reflects on her 50 years as principal harpist with the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Symphony Orchestra. The London production of One Mo' Time takes audiences back to the life and music of a vaudeville house in 1926 New Orleans. Playwright Wole Soyinka talks about why he has written Aké: the Years of Childhood, about growing up in a Nigerian village, and Edward Blishen reviews the book.
