A medieval manuscript, thought to date from the 14th Century, has been discovered behind the cover of another book.
The parchment had been used to help bind a book produced in 1548.
Lorraine Finch, a conservator who uncovered the rare plainsong, describes the find as "amazingly exciting... of national significance".
