‘Air rage’ incidents are putting lives in danger

386 serious incidents of passengers behaving badly on aircraft were reported in 2015 – up from just 85 in 2013, according to figures obtained from the Civil Aviation Authority by 5 live Investigates.

Airline industry insiders are now calling for a review of the availability of alcohol in airports and on planes.

UK cabin crew member Dan tells how he has witnessed passengers "punching each other, headbutting" as well as "drugs being taken on the tray tables".
